While I have only worn this watch cap for a few minutes, its still summer, I can already feel the quality. I bought the original non-merino wool cap and I loved it. But I am bald and especially when I was freshly shaved it could get itchy. I am so happy to be done with that but still keep the warming properties wool.
The fit feels great on your head on the original cap that I have and I think that this one will be the same, as soon as I put the new one on and I could feel how tight it was on my head and remembered the short break in period the original had. I have a 7 and 5/8 inch head and if you have this size head or larger it will fit a little tight at first. However the break in period is short and if this is anything like the original it will fit better than I have ever had one fit before. Highly recommended for quality as well as the price.

Solid beanie. I can tell it will last a long time and its great for work because it doesnt stink after 1 day. Keeps my head super warm, too hot sometimes while working. Saw a lot of reviews about it still being itchy, but this a more durable merino wool so it still has to be more stiff so it has a slight itchiness, if it was too soft and not itchy it would likely wear out quicker so its a good tradeoff IMO. Once you start breaking a sweat that feeling goes away. Would recommend 10/10.
Love this wool hat so far been 2 or 3 weeks using it for security work on my over night 12 hour shifts and by far best purchase iv made it was a slight bit itchy at first but that’s all real wool products after that break in period tho most comfortable cap iv had so far
